Transcranial
Photobiomodulation

Transcranial Photobiomodulation is also known as Red Light therapy. At Schott Physical Therapy we use the Neuronic Light helmet to improve brain function.

The Neuronic LIGHT uses 1070 nm near-infrared light to reach deep into the brain’s tissue, far beyond what visible light can penetrate. At this wavelength, it activates your brain’s mitochondria, the powerhouses of your cells, triggering a process known as photobiomodulation.

This stimulation boosts the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of your cells, enhancing cellular performance, accelerating repair, and increasing resilience throughout brain tissue.

The result? A brain that operates with more clarity, energy, and long-term strength, naturally.

Benefits of Transcranial Photobiomodulation

Increases cerebral blood flow to enhance oxygen and nutrient delivery

Promotes neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity for memory and learning

Reduces oxidative stress by balancing reactive oxygen species

Enhances glymphatic drainage, aiding in brain detoxification and recovery

Reduces inflammation and supports a healthier immune response

A brain that operates with more clarity, energy, and long-term strength, naturally.
